stayin at b&b portobello was a blast! fransesco and marzia were super chill hosts, always ready to help out with advice. they even picked us up from the train station, which was awsome. the breakfast was delish with tons of choices, really made our days start off right. plus, the location is just perfect for hitting up the beach and exploring the town.
the only bummer was the lack of a lift which made it kinda hard to lug our bags up those stairs, and the noise from the street in the mornings could be a bit annoying.

Our stay in the heart of Sestri Levante was amazing, especially with the stunning sea-view from our room. The breakfast each morning was not only delicious but also set the tone for our day, and the hosts were incredibly engaging, sharing local insights that enriched our visit. Exploring the nearby Baia del Silenzio and enjoying the local cuisine was a highlight, and we were grateful for their personal recommendations on where to eat and what to see.

Great breakfast spread with plenty of variety, including hot omelets. Perfectly located between two fantastic beaches, allowing easy access to sun and sand.
No lift access makes climbing those two flights of stairs an effort, especially with luggage. The second-floor room might be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. The shower space could feel cramped, and the shower head comes loose if touched.

Exceptional hosts made our stay!
From the warm welcome by Francesco to the delightful breakfasts, every moment felt special. They shared many local tips and even surprised us with some delicious cantuccini.
The only downside was the noise in the mornings from the street and church bells ringing at 7:30, which could be a bit bothersome without earplugs.
